Michael’s Sleep Factors are for “occasional sleeplessness.” As far as sleeping pills go, Michael’s Sleep Factors is not very powerful. The nice thing is they don’t pretend to be the solution to insomnia. They are straightforward about what their product can and can’t do. In addition to helping with occasional sleeplessness, Michael’s Sleep Factors claims to support and soothe muscles allowing you to relax. As we examine the ingredients we will be able to determine if this claim is valid. Visit our homepage to see how we rate each product: http://bestsleepingpills.org/
Michael’s Sleep Factors Ingredients:
The ingredients in Michael’s Sleep Factors include the following: Niacin, Biotin, Calcium, Magnesium, Inostiol, Passion Flower, Hops, and Valerian Root.
Niacin is a very important vitamin (vit B3) and it is often taken in supplement form by children and pregnant or expecting mothers. If you have a Niacin deficiency you may experience restlessness (among many other, more serious symptoms). But, it doesn’t have much to do with sleep. Biotin is useful for strengthening hair and nails, but also has little to do with sleep. The main “sleeping” ingredients are passion flower, hops, and valerian root. These are not super powerful, but they are classified among the more effective herbal sleep remedies.
Now, calcium and magnesium are interesting to me. Magnesium is used to calm and relax muscles (magnesium deficiency can lead to restless leg syndrome). Calcium is actually a muscle activator. Often times calcium supplements will come with the recommendation that you don’t take them before bed just in case they cause your muscles to grow tense. I don’t understand why a sleeping pill would have calcium in it. It has a counterproductive effect and it directly opposes the influence of magnesium. Both minerals are good for you, but it would be better to take calcium during the day and magnesium at night to ensure that you get plenty of rest.
Michael’s Sleep Factors Customer Reviews:
“Not even close to good enough. I tried it for a few days and it made me drowsy but not sleepy. Kinda like when you feel exhausted but you still stay up to watch tv for hours because you can’t fall asleep. At least it was cheap.” – Anonymous
“I like to use it when I feel really stressed and I need to relax, but it won’t do much for insomnia or restless leg syndrome. My dad tried it for that and he said it didn’t change a thing.” – Anonymous
Overall Value:
One bottle of Michael’s Sleep Factors costs $13.99 and will last you about 20 days (assuming you take one serving per night). They do offer a money back guarantee on all their products, which is a nice plus. Overall, Michael’s Sleep Factors is a below average sleeping pill. It lacks power and some of the ingredients can produce contradictory results. If you want something to help you relax then Michael’s Sleep Factors is a viable option. But, if you want a solid sleeping pill you should look elsewhere.
